Family Weekend at Camp Monadnock
Enjoy a weekend away at summer camp with the whole family
A family tradition with something for everyone
Don’t let summer slip away without a trip to camp—and this time, the whole family is invited!
Family Weekend is your time to gather as a family and see new and old friends over classic camp activities and shared faith experiences. As hillside hangs bleed into campfire conversations and late-night laughter, you will grow closer to God and each other in ways that are impossible to experience anywhere else. No wonder Family Weekend is an annual Labor Day tradition for so many New England families!
Embrace the last days of summer, make memories, and fan the flames of your faith before school starts again this Labor Day weekend.

What to expect at Family Weekend
Rise and shine from your cozy accommodations in our historic New England lodge and take in the beautiful views of Mt. Monadnock as you make your way to a delicious and filling family breakfast (we’re doing all the cooking for you!). Following breakfast, your family will go deep into Scripture and worship during chapel sessions and family discussion time where you can open up and share more deeply with each other.
Afternoons mean free time and endless fun for everyone in the family. Enjoy heart-pumping tournaments, mini golf, archery tag, and canoeing—or simply share a frappe and relax on our stunning hillside. More of an “indoor crowd?” We’ve got you covered with our indoor game room and gaga, as well as crafts and board games.
We all gather again for a delicious dinner in the dining hall, campfire devos and s’mores, and fun after-dark activities like family photos or our famous “glow hunt.”
As your happy and tired campers return to the lodge, fresh conversations will flow and new memories will be shared before it’s time to rest up to do it all again tomorrow!
What’s included:
- Lodge-style accommodations for three nights*
- All meals, from Saturday breakfast through Monday breakfast
- Daily chapel sessions with worship and teaching from our featured speaker
- Access to all camp activities (canoeing, climbing tower, mini golf, archery, etc.) + special activities and games for the whole family
*Off-site rates are available for those who do not want to stay at camp but would like to participate in meals and activities.
Classic New England comfort. A place that feels like home.
Kick up your feet at the foot of Mt. Monadnock during your stay at our beautiful camp and retreat center. Here you can experience the great outdoors in style, with a beautiful lodge, delicious food, and all the details taken care of for you.
Where you will stay:
Your family will stay together in your own dorm-style room in our classic New England lodge. Choose between an en suite bathroom or shared hallway bathroom. Rooms have plenty of bunks for mom, dad, and the kids; our largest rooms sleep up to 18 people.
If you don’t want to stay on-site, you can buy a camp-only ticket, where you arrange your own accommodation but have access to all sessions and activities. RV and tent camping sites are also available on the property if you’d like to camp during your stay with us.
What you will eat:
Get ready to be treated to delicious meals created by our in-house chefs and served in the communal dining hall. Each morning, you’ll enjoy a breakfast buffet with all your favorites: eggs, bacon, pancakes, and fresh fruit and yogurt. Lunch and dinner consist of family favorites like pizza and wings, hamburgers, and taco night. Of course, it wouldn’t be camp without s’mores and sundaes, so be sure to leave room for dessert!
If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, there is a place to share this during the registration process, and we work very hard to accommodate these. Our chefs are all ServSafe certified.

When does Family Weekend take place?
Family Weekend takes place from Friday evening through Monday morning over Labor Day weekend each year. It’s the perfect way to connect as a family before school starts back up.
What ages can attend Family Weekend?
All ages are welcome at Family Weekend! It’s normal to see everyone from infants to multi-generational families enjoying camp together.
What are the housing arrangements?
Families stay in our historic New England lodge, with one family per room. Rooms have bunk beds; most have one double bed for mom and dad. You can choose between a private in-room bathroom or shared hallway bathroom.
We have rooms that can accommodate up to 18 people for large or multi-generational families staying together.
What are the arrival and departure times for Family Weekend?
Check-in is from 5:00-7:00pm Friday, and check-out is at 10:00am Monday.
How will my family learn about the God of the Bible?
Each day at camp includes all-camp chapel times with worship and Bible teaching as well as dedicated family discussion time where you can share what you’ve learned together and get to know each other better. We welcome and accept campers at every stage of their faith journey. Our camps are highly invitational, encouraging campers to think about God, life’s big questions, and what their next steps of faith might be in the safety of an authentic community.
Can I bring a group from my church?
We love church groups, and Family Weekend is a great place for families from your church to deepen their relationships with each other. Because each family stays in their own room, it’s best that the families from your church register individually. If you know how many families are coming, please contact us before your arrival, and we will try to house your group in rooms near each other.
